Festival season is well and truly upon us. There are lots of exciting festivals about. Just because you haven’t got a ticket yet, doesn’t mean you won’t end up going to one last minute. In fact, you’ll usually find the last minute plans are the best! Maybe you already know which festivals you plan on going to. If you’re anything like me, you’re probably eagerly planning your festival outfits and looks in advance. One thing I feel really makes festival outfits, is the jewelry. Wearing the right jewelry will always enhance your look and give you that awesome festival vibe. Here’s how to nail it!
Think Outside Of The Box
When it comes to wearing jewelry, make sure you think outside of the box. There are so many unique pieces you can include in your look now, there’s no need to look the same as the next person. You definitely shouldn’t look boring! There are body chains, headpieces, and even nail jewelry you can use in your look. If you don’t want to lose expensive jewelry, you can even wear temporary tattoos in their place.
Layer Up Your Jewels
Festival jewelry is all about layers. This will give you more of a hippy, gypsy, or rockstar vibe. Whichever you prefer! Statement pieces are great, but make sure you throw some dainty pieces in there to balance them out. Get an arm party started, layer your elf925 silver necklaces and wear lots of rings.
Go OTT
The brilliant thing about festivals is that it allows you to get creative with your look. There’s no need to worry about going OTT - do it! Be as outrageous as you like and don’t worry about what anybody else thinks. It could be the perfect time to experiment with a new look you want to try, or to do something totally out there that you’d never usually do. Wear an indian head dress and cover yourself in technicolor gems. Have fun with your look!
Mix Different Pieces
Your jewelry pieces don’t need to be the same style. In fact, it usually works better if they’re not. Mix up pieces. Wear friendship bracelets, sparkly pieces and even plain pieces. This will give you a really diverse look. Show off your personality and don’t worry about clashing!
Ensure You Feel Comfortable
Finally, make sure you feel comfortable in everything you’re wearing. Although you want to look your best, you don’t want to be weighed down in finery. If you wear lots of heavy rings and necklaces, chances are, you’ll get uncomfortable at some point and end up taking them off. It’s a good idea to know the few pieces you shouldn’t actually wear too. For instance, feather earrings and other items may get wet in the rain, which will totally ruin your look. If the weather is hot, bear in mind that you fingers may swell. Wearing tight rings is probably not wise in cases like this!
