Give Yourself an At-Home Skincare Peel Safely

A review of Jouviance Glyco| Laser 5 Soft Peel Night Cream
By Carla Snuggs

Beauties, let me introduce you to a great way to get a gentle skincare peel treatment overnight. I recently had the opportunity to try Jouviance Glyco|Laser Soft Peel Night Cream. What I look for in a night cream, as opposed to a day cream, is a highly moisturizing cream that feels great on the skin with no sticky residue. And, of course, a day cream that is highly effective, treating any skincare concerns I may have and helping my skin look amazing in the AM. Jouviance Glyco| Laser 5 Soft Peel Night Cream fits the bill!

Jouviance Glyco|Laser Soft Peel Night Cream is a great way to do a gentle skincare peel at home. The formula features an “intensive dual-action professional grade slow release glycolic acid combined with a potent QV3 soothing complex [Calmosensine™, allantoin, bisabolol} that reduces irritation”. So if you're a little hesitant to try a skincare peel treatment at home, this is a great way to try it out for the first time.

About Glycolic Acid

The Soft Peel Night Cream is a 5% Glycolic Acid version, so it's gentle enough to be used at home. The skinny on Glycolic acid: Glycolic acid is a great way to gently exfoliate the skin while removing bacteria and dirt that can clog pores and form acne. This form of chemical exfoliation gets rid of the dead skin cells, allowing for the turnover of healthy, younger looking skin, so it's great for anti-aging skincare concerns. I especially love Jouviance Glyco|Laser 5 Soft Peel Night Cream is because it works on your skin while you get that very important beauty rest.

To recap, the Soft Peel Night Cream is on my approved list of night creams, for the following reasons:

  • Hydrates – my skin feels incredibly moisturized
  • Combats hyperpigmentation and helps get an even and radiant skin tone
  • Removes dead surface skin cells – helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles – it gently resurfaces the skin

Tip: I always spot test skincare products to be sure my skin is not sensitive to them. Test on a small area first. If you don't have any sensitivity, begin applying every other night and then increase to every night if you have no irritation.
