The end of the year is nigh! I love closing out the year by rounding up some of my faves products tried by myself (or contributors) throughout the month of November! I loved discovering new brands and new products from the brands that I already love! Here are some of my favorite things!

Légende (Lafite) Wines

Légendehas has an impressive collection of five versatile, affordable, and delicious wines for every palate. Envisioned by winemaker Diane Flamand, and one of the most critically esteemed houses in the world – Domaine Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) – Légende wines are the perfect expression of Bordeaux terroir, taking from such appellations as the Médoc,Saint-Émilion, and Pauillac. Here are a few of my picks:

Légende Bordeaux Blanc 2017: Varieties: 50% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Semillon, 10% Sauvignon Gris. Légende Bordeaux Blanc, made from Sauvignon and Sémillon, explodes with freshness. On the nose, refined and aromatic, combining citrus notes (grapefruit, lime) with aromas of exotic fruit (passion fruit). On the palate, the wine is fresh, lively, seductive, and aromatic, with exotic notes on the finish. 

Légende Pauillac 2015: Varieties: 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot. A major appellation in the Médoc, Pauillac benefits from exceptional terroir characterized by gravelly hilltops on a clay subsoil which ensures natural drainage and encourages the vines to develop deep roots - these are the perfect conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon. Pauillac is partly made from grapes grown in Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite)’s own vineyards and the wines are made with the same attention to detail as the Grand Vin. Their structure is less concentrated than their prestigious elders, allowing them to age quickly, and after just a few months in bottle; they offer an original, unique style, with the fullness and complexity for which the appellation is renowned. A powerful, structured wine, with well-integrated tannins and a long aromatic black pepper, licorice finish.

Canella Bellini Recipe

• 2 fluid ounces peach juice

• 4 fluid ounces chilled Canella Prosecco

• 1 tablespoon raspberry juice (optional)


Pour peach juice into a chilled flute. Slowly pour Canella Prosecco over peach juice; let sit until liquids have blended, roughly 1 minute. Add in raspberry juice over the mixture.
