Regardless of whether you're seeking to softly contour your face or add a subtle glow, bronzer and blush can help you to achieve the result that you're looking for. Utilizing your bronzer and blush, you can focus the attention on your cheeks, nose, or all over your face. 

Tip: If you're trying to create a glow from within, a matte bronzer is your go-to bronzer. After you've applied it, you will want to add a hint of shimmer to your cheeks and your cupid's bow for the perfect Sunkissed look. 

Bronzer and blush can be worn separately or together, depending on the look you're seeking. 

Step 1: Priming Your Skin

Primer creates an ideal smooth base, just as if you're working on a canvas like an artist. Leaving this step out will not give you the end result you're seeking. This is a must-do step if you're trying to achieve a perfect result. Simply add a few drops of primer to your fingers and gently massage them together to warm the product before applying it to your face and neck area. 

Step 2: Apply Base Foundation

Once you've applied your primer, it's time for your base foundation. Using a base foundation brush or a damp beauty sponge, gently build on the first application starting in the middle of your face and gently blending outward. Start small and work your way up to avoid looking overdone. Don't allow the foundation to cake on your face; simply keep blending it and remember that less is more. If you have dark circles or blemishes, add a few dabs of concealer to even it out in lieu of more foundation. 

Step 3: Use Powder To Set

Don't apply your bronzer until the foundation has been set. This will cause caking over the foundation and give you an uneven finish. Apply a light setting powder to your face to keep the foundation in place and to ensure that you can easily and smoothly apply the bronzer. 

Step 4: Apply Your Bronzer

The application of your powder or cream blush and bronzer will depend upon the type you're using. If it's a powder, simply use a soft application brush. Soft bristles or a flat brush will make it easier to apply to your skin. Apply it in a "3" formation from your temples, underneath your cheekbones, and across your jawline. Use the brush to diffuse the pigment and sweep some of it gently over your forehead. 

If you're seeking a more sculpted look, you can use an angled brush and brush it along your nose and jawline. Blend it in small circles to avoid any lines. Remember to lightly layer the bronzer down your neckline as well so that your neck and face match. 

If you prefer something dewier, you can use a cream bronzer. Simply apply this with the fingertips by patting a fine line down the top of your ear to the outside corner of your mouth. Blend it gently to blur the edges so that you don't have a stark line. Make sure to add a highlighter on the edges and high points that you want to accent. 

Step 5: Apply The Blush

Using a powder or cream blush, you can now add a flush of color to your face. When it comes to blush, remember that it's all about preference. Powders typically stay on slightly longer. Fluffy brushes tend to help blend it in well. Cream blushes give a more dewy finish. 

Tapered blush brushes will also help to diffuse the color. Apply in an "X" shape from the apple of the cheeks toward the cheekbones. Start at the very edge of the bronzer application. Smile slightly and center the blush.
