SPF Addict Donna’s Perfect Dress

My review of SPF Addict’s Donna’s Perfect Dress provides UPF50+ sun protection
By Carla Snuggs

This month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but I’ve also become more aware of cancer in general. Skin cancer is a big concern of mine and sun protection is always on my mind. Now, sun protection can be as simple as wearing SPF Addict’s Donna’s Perfect Dress. SPF Addict's eco-friendly, chemical free line of UPF 50+ sophisticated clothing is made with Tencel Sun® fabric made from eucalyptus wood. Tencel Sun® fabric is woven tightly to absorb the sun’s harmful rays which can lead to premature aging and possible skin cancer.

“Even during the fall and winter months, daily sun protection is essential,” says Marina Arnold, R.N., president of SPF Addict.  She continues, “Those traveling to warm climates or the snow need to be extra cautious of exposing sensitive winter skin.  Traditional shirts only offer a UPF rating of five, whereas our garments offer UPF 50+ while being soft and feminine.”

I recently took Donna’s Perfect Dress with me on vacation to Cabo San Lucas. I absolutely love this dress! It was extremely hot and humid, yet this dress made the perfect beach dress and swim cover-up. I wore Donna's Perfect Dress around the resort and at breakfast and lunch and felt fabulous knowing my skin was protected and I looked great! The fabric is super soft and it breathes! It’s also the perfect dress for girls on-the-go because it’s wrinkle-free. As you may know, I love multifunctional products and so SPF Addict is now one of my new favorite fashion brands.

Donna’s Perfect Dress features:

  • a boat shaped neckline for maximum décolleté protection,
  • an adjustable single button sleeve
  • scoop-cut mid-length skirt

Bonus: SPF Addict independently tests it’s fabrics to uphold its UPF 50+ rating even after 40 washes.
