November was an amazing month for Posh Beauty Blog, as we were able to test incredible beauty products this month and we’re beyond excited to share the best with you. Keep reading for the latest monthly roundup of the some of the BEST beauty products tried by myself (or contributors) throughout the month of November (that were not otherwise featured this month). Here are some favorites for November 2014.
Karin Herzog Essential Mask
Karin Herzog’s Essential Mask reduces visible signs of fatigue! Perfect before an event or after air travel, this deeply nourishing mask instantly leaves the skin feeling plumped, hydrated and energized. Grab some in time for the holidays which tend to get really hectic! Formulated with 2% active oxygen and vitamin A, the Essential Mask also provides an immediate lifting and toning effect, while lessening hyperpigmentation for a brightening effect. It’s paraben-free and preservative-free, plus the Essential Mask features essentials oils of grapefruit, Mandarin orange and apricot ($60, Karinherzog.com).
Pür Minerals Lip Gloss Sticks
Achieve maximum color and shine with Pür Minerals’ Lip Gloss Sticks. Winter will be here before you know it, so it’s a great time to add some new shades for the new season.Condition and color your lips with deep, bold shades like Berry Pretty, Rum Raisin and Game Day. They’re long lasting and they go on super smooth ($16, PurMinerals.com).
The Organic Pharmacy Enzyme Peel Mask with Vitamin C and Papaya
I am beyond impressed with The Organic Pharmacy because all of their products are derived exclusively with 100% all-natural and 95-99% food grade organic ingredients and they are highly effective. It’s no surprise that The Organic Pharmacy has such a strong celebrity following like Lily Collins, Beyonce, Jessica Alba, and Reese Witherspoon. I recently I tried the Enzyme Peel Mask with Vitamin C and Papaya. If you’re looking for a luxurious splurge, this is it! The enzymatic and peeling action gently removes dead skin cells, reduces blackheads, diminishes age spots, reduces fine lines and leaves the skin nourished, radiant, soft and renewed to its natural perfection. This 10 minute treatment will leave your skin glowing ($79, Theorganicpharmacy.com).
Future FABY Nail Collection
Future FABY is a brand new collection of 12 limited-edition shades inspired by the colors, materials, and technology of the future from FABY, a new line of luxury nail care straight from Milan, Italy. The collection is made in France, vegan and 5-free, which is a huge bonus! My faves from the Future FABY collection are LCF025 - Nuit de mysteres, LCF030 - Sensual touch and LCF032 - Lotus flower in Shangai. Learn more here: Fabyusa.com
Phyto-C Velvet Gel
Another brand that I must rave about is Phyto-C. Bring balance back and revive skin with their incredible treatment Velvet Gel. Providing extraordinary nutrition for skin cell repair, this nourishing and hydrating gel combines pentapeptide with multiple vitamins including vitamin A, E, B3, B5, B12. Velvet Gel maintains the health of skin, while reducing the appearance of fine line and wrinkles. Velvet Gel dilates the blood capillaries under the skin and increases blood circulation. You can also use it as a primer so it’s multi-fuctional! It really leaves the skin feeling softer, brighter, healthier and younger ($64, Myphyto-c.us).
Viviscal Extra Strength
If you’ve recently gotten a super short hair cut or you have thinning hair, Viviscal Extra Strength can help you get thicker, stronger hair. It’s the #1 Hair growth supplement and it nourishes hair from the inside out. Loved by celebs like Gwyneth Paltrow, Karlie Kloss, Reese Witherspoon and Miley Cyrus, this miracle supplement takes hair growth to a new level with its proprietary ingredient, AminoMar, a deep sea fish blend that works to give thinning, dry and dull hair a much-needed oomph of volume, imparting a lustrous shine and softer touch. Viviscal also improves the overall health of your hair by increasing the elasticity and density of each strand ($49.99, Viviscal.com or save by joining the Viviscal Healthy Hair Club).
The ponytail has always been a busy girl’s go-to hairstyle! Give your ponytail a trendy update with the Mia Beauty Tonytail®. This soft, stylish wrap works great with any hair length or thickness and is used the same way as a typical hair tie. Simply wrap around any height ponytail for an instant upgrade. The Tonytail comes in blonde, light brown, medium brown, dark brown and black ($8 at Walgreens, Harmon/Bed Bath Beyond and at Miabeauty.com).
Hearts & Stars Hair Care Collection
Hearts & Stars is a natural hair care line out of Hawaii. Here’s why the fabulous haircare line made the cut: It is pH balanced (4.5-5.5) and paraben-free, so you can use it daily The line uses natural ingredients like hemp, sunflower and avocado oils with proteins to add nutrients and improve the condition of the hair. Grape seed extract, aloe vera, rosemary, sage, grapefruit and biotin are added to promote hair growth. Hearts & Stars also contains comfrey, chamomile and Vitamin B5 to help you get thick and shiny hair. And it smells amazing! Try the Smooth & Shine Serum. It’s great for soft, sleek looks ($20, Hearts-and-stars.com).
Wow Effect Pocket Kit
WOW Effect is an innovative anti-aging treatment. In 20 minutes from its application, it gives you a visible anti-wrinkle result, making your skin softer and smoother, your face younger and radiant. I tried the Wow Effect Pocket Kit, a 3-step treatment that takes just 20 minutes. Step 1: WOW Effect Cleansing Make up Remover - An immediate and deep cleaning action. It removes impurities and leaves your skin cleansed and balanced. Step 2: WOW Effect Serum – Provides anti-wrinkle action. Minimizes the visible signs of aging and tones the skin. Step 3: WOW Effect Mask. This is an Anti-Wrinkle Mask for brightening action. I love the Wow Effect Pocket Kit because it’s perfect to use before an event or photo session or just to pamper yourself during a girl’s night in ($27, Amazon.com).
