Windsor Vineyards Wine Labels and Wine

The DIY folks at Windsor Vineyards have mastered the art of making tremendous wine with an intensely personal twist. On their website, you can choose from their pre-templated Mother's Day labels or design your own custom label—for no cost—to affix to any of their wines. The brand is perfect for the mom who appreciates a good glass—or bottle—of wine with a unique touch.

As for wine, we recommend The Winery's 2015 Zinfandel Dry Creek Valley Platinum Series. It’s distinct in style and taste—smooth and jammy on the palate. It’s also the perfect wine to sip on its own or a hearty complement to dishes like slow-roasted leg of lamb, braised beef short ribs and Cioppino.

Trinchero Wines

It’s hard to have a gift guide without wine suggestions from one of my faves, Trinchero Family Estates. They have best affordable wines and that are always great for gift giving and to present as hostess gifts.

My suggestions:

Pomelo Sauvignon Blanc : Aromas of fragrant white blossoms lead to white peach, melon and ripe citrus on the palate complemented by a lovely lemon curd finish.

Napa Cellars Chardonnay: Flavors of pear, crème fraiche, and pie crust are complimented by a creamy texture with balanced acidity and a nice, lingering finish of crème brulee and white peach. This is the perfect wine to pair with a Camembert French cheese plate drizzled with local honey and almond halves, or with panna cotta topped with fresh berries for dessert.

Terra d'Oro Zinfandel: displays the classic characteristics unique to this region. Enticing aromas of clove, cracked pepper, black cherry, smoke, violets, licorice, black olive and sage lead to an elegant entry of cherry and licorice on the palate.

My personal favorite: Taken Red Blend: This powerful wine boasts copious amounts of ripe red fruit, blueberry and plum. Dark chocolate and tastefully integrated oak add complexity to the full-bodied mouthfeel, while the texture and flavors linger on the palate for a good 30 seconds after enjoying.

Sugar Smart Box

Sugar Smart Box is a monthly subscription box with low sugar, low carb, diabetic diet friendly snacks. Mom simply customizes her subscription and then will receive 7 or more premium curated snacks for her box each month.

Chameleon Cold-Brew has you covered with a Mother’s Day gift. If mom's a DIY-er, the Cold-Brew Pod Bundle gives the gift of a delicious cold-brew with little-to-no effort. The 10 coffee pods are paired with two trendy Chameleon Cold-Brew glasses, so mom can enjoy homemade cold-brew with your loved ones!
